Preventive Maintenance
With regular maintenance you will prevent small problems from becoming big problems and ensure optimal performance of your comfort system. We call regular maintenance, comfort checks. We also offer bi-annual service contracts, which guarantee servicing appointments vs. calling and trying to schedule a day which may not be available.
Regular maintenance will:

What we do during our Comfort Checks:
Spring Comfort Check
- Check & adjustment of thermostat
- Inspect wiring, contacts, capacitors & relays
- Inspect evaporator coil if accessible
- Evaluate blower motor and wheel to see if it needs to be cleaned
- Inspect and clean condenser
- Inspect and clean condensate drain and/or drain pipe to condensate pump
- Inspect outdoor disconnect
- Inspect compressor at startup
- Inspect filtration system
- Tighten electrical connections
- Inspection of freon levels only on units with cooling issues as checking freon levels over periods of time will remove freon from the system.

When completed you will receive a recommendation for any further maintenance or repair needs of your system.
Fall Comfort Check
For Gas Furnaces:
- Check & adjust thermostat
- Test for carbon monoxide leaks
- Inspect wiring, contacts, capacitors & relays
- Tighten electrical connections
- Evaluate burner assembly if it needs to be cleaned
- Clean ignition assembly
- Inspect condensate drain for 90% furnaces
- Evaluate blower motor and wheel to see if it needs to be cleaned
- Inspect filtration system
- Test safety controls
- Inspect vent piping
- Inspect humidification system
- Inspect condensate drain for 90% furnaces
- Perform function and operation check
For Electric Air Handler w/ Heat Pumps:
- Inspect evaporator coil
- Evaluate blower motor and wheel to see if it needs to be cleaned
- Inspect filtration system
- Test safety controls
- Tighten electrical connections
- Inspect wiring, contacts, capacitors & relays
- Measure amperage
- Inspect humidification system
- Check condenser coil
- Clean condensate drain
- Check defrost controls
- Inspect auxiliary heating elements
- Test starting capabilities
- Inspection of freon levels only on units with cooling issues as checking freon levels over periods of time will remove freon from system.
